The session will describe the results of a study done with preservice teachers using content acquisition podcasts (CAPs, Kennedy, Hart, & Kellems, 2011) plus coaching feedback to provide training in the use of behavior-specific praise statements. Implementation of the intervention and implications for practice will be discussed.
