My name is Lynn Scott and I have relocated to Florida from a small rural community in Indiana to pursue my Ph. D. in Exceptional Education at the University of Central Florida. I began a profession in education after a career change from the business world. My journey would start as a paraprofessional while pursuing my special education teaching degree. After years of classroom experience, I progressed to an administrative role expanding to support the North Putnam Community School Corporation beyond my own classroom. I have 18 years of classroom experience that includes students from grades pre-k through 12+ in a variety of educational settings and eligibility categories. I value inclusion and equity in education. Therefore, it is my mission to equip and prepare educators in the pursuit of inclusive practices through the science of learning. My hope is to increase opportunities and improve outcomes for diverse populations. My many opportunities have afforded me a range of experiences and perspectives in the field of education.
